Cotton Factory

So much to see in one location - a former cotton factory, with lots of old machinery & supplies left behind. A walk through the building would take you on a journey of the whole process, from the patterns, threads & dyes all the way to the final products in a long warehouse.

There was also an old house which presumably housed the owners at one stage. This place was very spooky and incredibly dark. It was the first time I have shot a residential building & it feels more voyeuristic than I would normally enjoy, especially as the bedrooms were still very untouched. The room with the piano was pitch black & for some time I didn't even realise it was there! Thank goodness for long exposures.
