Dome Spa

On the journey back to the airport, we drove to a different area to visit the Dome Spa. This was a difficult place to find out much about but we took a chance and headed there, unsure what to expect. In the very centre of the entrance is a magnificent structure made up of columns reaching into an ornate dome.

It separates off into two wings either side - possibly for male/female segregation & I later found out that it was used for balneological treatments & thermal baths. At either end were large rooms containing the treatment rooms. The building is in bad shape overall now but still retains a lot of its original grandeur. The tile work in the dome itself is incredible.
