Bathhouse No.8

Bathhouse No.8 is another of the public bathhouses with communal baths. There was the facility for 128 people - 8 areas, each with 16 baths. It was certainly not one of the more glamorous buildings - you could just walk in from any side & I suspect it has always been like that.

The shape of the building is really interesting - from outside and to a lesser degree inside, it looks like a spacecraft with it's round structure. Recently someone has painted the walls green, which adds another sci-fi layer to it.
