Constanta Casino

Without doubt, my favourite location I have explored is the casino in Constanta. With the knowledge that it would be renovated (and despite the fact the city mayor had emailed to say I couldn't go in) I took a chance and got on a flight to Romania. I managed to have an hour to explore this wonderful seaside structure - a perfect vision of the Art Nouveau style.

The main ballroom boasts a giant window shaped like a seashell, with a giant chandelier suspended high up above. Another chandelier hangs over the magnificent staircase leading up from the entrance hall. It is the most stunning architecture I have ever witnessed & it was an honour to visit and take photos.
