Schloss V

This incredible place in Germany started life as a convent back in the year 991. After a long history of owners (including the von Munchausen family) & rebuilds the palace gained its mixture of neo-renaissance and neo-baroque styles in the late 19th century. Most recently it has served as a film location, which explains some of the more unusual decor.

It is an amazing place to explore, full of surprises & beauty - plus a couple of pianos that really makes the location feel grand & special. On our 2020 road trip, this was probably the calming setting we encountered.
