Peppermint Power Plant

The Peppermint Power Plant was a location on a list for a long time but sadly just before my planned trip, it suffered a severe trashing, some of which I've decided to remove from the pictures. The power plant served the adjacent paper mill, which we also explored but aside from a couple of interesting offices there was not much left besides an unpleasant smell and a spooky & unsettling atmosphere.

The jewel in this site is definitely the small green turbine. I went back and forth into this room as the late afternoon sun kept producing different results, so what you see here is a reflection of that process & the varying light effects.
