Chemiewerk (Part 1)

This monumental former chemical factory is about an hour outside of Berlin. It involved a train, a bus, a long walk - not an easy place to get to - and after all that we were chased out by security after getting a decent but very incomplete set of photos.

Fortunately we had time to explore the largest of the apocalyptic structures & I dared to climb to the top. With no noise but the wind, it was a true test of nerve. The first set of stairs was gone & replaced by a plank of wood. The further up I went, the less I wanted to touch the handrails.

A few day later, I was back.
