We arrived late in the day, so whilst time was scarce, it meant that the setting sun created an amazing orange glow inside the dome of the church. It is located in the centre of a huge disused hospital - one I will explore another occasion when time allows - but it did not look very friendly inside once the light faded.
The church itself is the star of the show anyway. It sits in the middle of amazing walkways that are both raised & curved. The building is shaped like a cross which is a wonderfully appropriate design. I'm sure a drone would capture a wonderful shot image but I shot the opposite way - straight up into the massive dome. Impressive for the way it captured the light but also for the four haunting biblical figures adorning it.
